Just last month, it appeared the NBA trade deadline would be relatively quiet with only minor movement and smaller deals involving role players.

Yeah, about that… Once Anthony Davis made his trade request and told the Pelicans he had no intention of re-signing with the team, the league went crazy. There have been rampant rumors and surprising deals seemingly touching every team in the last few days, including Wednesday morning’s stunner that sent Tobias Harris to the 76ers.

But it all comes to an end Thursday afternoon. Any buyers hoping to make roster upgrades must complete their trades by 3 p.m. ET.

1:30 p.m. — It’s not a trade, but the Nets are getting a big piece back. Terrific news for Caris LeVert.

1:10 p.m. — TRADE: Poor Nik Stauskas just can’t find a team that wants him.

12:55 p.m. — TRADE: Oh boy. The Bucks are really going for it this year.

12:35 p.m. — Back in January, Sporting News’ Sean Deveney reported the Hornets were ready to move Frank Kaminsky. He’s in Charlotte for now, but that could change quickly.

12:15 p.m. — TRADE: The Rockets are sending James Ennis to the Sixers.

11:55 a.m. — So yeah, this Anthony Davis trade probably isn’t happening. No communication between the Lakers and Pelicans.

10:20 a.m. — Marc Gasol isn’t leaving Memphis just yet. The Grizzlies and Hornets still have work to do.

9:30 a.m. — Harrison Barnes was traded during Wednesday night’s game between the Mavericks and Hornets, which made for some awkward moments around the bench. However, it turns out Barnes knew a deal could be coming and elected to play anyway.

9 a.m. — It’s going to be a short trip in Dallas for Zach Randolph. He is expected to be a buyout candidate.
